Terms for using Functable's website and Google Sheets™ add-ons.
Last updated: September 5, 2026
These terms apply to functable.com, Functable Google Workspace™ Marketplace add-ons, documentation, and support.
By using Functable, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The Service
Functable provides Google Sheets™ custom functions and related documentation. All Functable functions are free to use.
Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Choosing whether Functable is appropriate for your spreadsheet workflow.
- Verifying formulas and outputs before relying on them.
- Keeping your Google account, spreadsheet, and organization access secure.
- Making sure your use of Functable complies with laws, contracts, and internal policies that apply to you.
Do not use Functable to violate law, abuse services, interfere with the service, reverse engineer protected service code, bypass license checks, or infringe anyone's rights.
Spreadsheet Results
Functable aims to provide useful spreadsheet functions, but spreadsheet formulas can be affected by user input, Google Workspace™ behavior, time zone database behavior, locale settings, date parsing, and other environmental factors.
You should independently verify outputs that affect money, legal obligations, deadlines, payroll, travel, medical care, safety, compliance, or other important decisions.
Free Functions
All Functable functions are free and unlimited. No subscription or per-seat payment is required.
Google Workspace™
Functable add-ons run in Google Workspace™ and may depend on Google Apps Script™, Google Sheets™, Google Workspace™ Marketplace, and related Google services. Google may change those services. Functable is not responsible for Google service outages, policy changes, permission prompts, Marketplace review outcomes, or Google Workspace™ administrator settings.
Accounts
If you create an account, you must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
Intellectual Property
Functable owns the website, add-ons, documentation, branding, and service code except for third-party materials. You may use Functable as intended, but these terms do not give you ownership of Functable intellectual property.
You keep ownership of your spreadsheets, formulas, data, and support examples you provide. If you send feedback, suggestions, bug reports, or feature ideas, you allow Functable to use them without restriction or compensation.
Third-Party Services
Functable may link to or rely on third-party services such as Google Workspace™, Stripe, hosting, authentication, email, and security providers. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies.
Disclaimers
Functable is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, Functable disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and error-free operation.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Functable will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or spreadsheet errors.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Functable's total liability for any claim will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid Functable for the service in the 12 months before the claim or $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some limits may not apply to you.
Termination
You may stop using Functable at any time. Functable may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk, or use the service in a way that harms Functable, users, or third parties.
Changes
Functable may update these terms as the service changes. If changes are material, we will update the date above and, when appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of California, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless another jurisdiction's law is required by applicable law.
